New rules on the block
Returning students were greeted with “Residents Only” signs throughout the Rockhill Crest neighborhood. These streets were previously a refuge for students dodging the cost of a student-parking permit. The result of this summer’s negotiations left many students looking for another place of free harbor. New parking rules
According to a press release, new and returning students might notice a surprising addition to the campus this fall. Unlike state-of-the-art Student Union or the newly renovated campus library, this change will likely be met with groans, not cheers. The Rockhill Crest Neighborhood Association passed a new parking regulation in March to authorize permit-only parking.
