Tattoo of the Week: Family is forever

Freshman pre-nursing major Leslee Slinger has experienced much hardship in her 18 years. In just a few years, Slinger lost her father, mother and brother to cancer. Her tattoo a cancer ribbon with three butterflies on her left side. “Each [butterfly] represents a family member that died of cancer,” Slinger said. “It’s hard not being able to talk to them, see them, or to have them there to support you,” Slinger added. “We were really close.
