Men’s golf not up to par at UALR tournament
The men’s golf team gathered a three-round combined total of 916 (+52), taking 7th place at the UALR First Tee Intercollegiate at Chenal Country Club in Little Rock, Ark. on Mar. 26-27. The Roos produced rounds of 309, 299 and 308 at the par-72 course. Southeastern Louisiana University took the title with a 887 (+23) total, while Oral Roberts finished 3rdwith a final total of 904. Individually, the Roos were led by sophomore Jack Fiscus, who tied for 4th with a 222 total. Fiscus was six over par with rounds of 73, 76 and 73 respectively. As a team, sophomore Cole Chelle had eleven over par 227 (75-75 -77), tying for 24th place. Men’s Golf rounds out fall-season with 3rd place finish
With the professional PGA Tour coming to an end this week, the men’s golf fall-season also concluded as the Roos competed in the Bill Ross Intercollegiate in Overland Park, Kan. on Oct. 17-18. As the hosts, the Roos earned a respectable 3rd place finish on the par-72 course. They finished with a final score of 887 (+23), only one shot off a second place finish in the event.
