A Study in Sherlock: The world’s most famous literary detective is revived in two new works

Sherlock Holmes, probably the most famous of all literary detectives, has inspired and changed the mystery genre forever. He has also left an indelible mark on many writers, who have been inspired by the many books and stories featuring Holmes written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Two of the many books that have been inspired by Holmes are “Dust and Shadow: An Account of the Ripper Killings by Dr. John H. Watson,” and “The Sherlockian.” While not quite outshining the original material that inspired them, they come very close. “Dust and Shadow: An Account of the Ripper Killings by Dr. John H.
