The Second Annual Interdisciplinary Undergraduate English Council and English Graduate Student Association Symposium has extended its call for papers to March 10 at 11:59 p.m.
The theme of this year’s symposium is about articulating and interrogating identities.
Topics and disciplines include, but are not limited to, gender, race, class, sexuality and politics.
Submissions can range from creative work, literary analysis, research papers or any other written material that explores this broad and subjective theme.
250-word proposals should be submitted to umkcsymposium2013@gmail.com
Students should expect to present up to seven pages of material with a brief Q&A session to follow.
The symposium is scheduled for Saturday April 6 in the Student Union.
